This one-day interactive and participatory training will serve as an introduction to companies on the definitions of forced labor and trafficking in persons and how this intersects with responsibilities under the ILO Tripartite Declaration concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy (MNE Declaration) and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). The training will cover the ways in which companies can address potential risks to their business operations and supply chains, as well as the tools and principles available to help strengthen businesses' ability to combat forced labor and trafficking in persons. This includes tips and actions on developing company policies, measurable benchmarks, due diligence, and monitoring frameworks.
The workshop will be given in English.
