Dr. Nadyah Alayadhi Head of Pharmacy at Kuwait Center for Mental Health is the Head of Pharmacy at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, where she has led pharmaceutical services since October 2019. With over two decades of experience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, and health economics, Dr. Alayadhi brings a wealth of knowledge in pharmaceutical innovation and development to her role. She holds a PhD in Pharmacy with a focus on pharmaceutical innovation, development, and economic studies from the University of Bradford, earned in 2015. Additionally, she completed a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Medicine Control (PSMC) from Liverpool John Moores University in 2012, following a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from New College Durham in 1997. In parallel with her role at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, Dr. Alayadhi has been contributing to the field as a Doctor and researcher at Ibn-Sina Hospital in Kuwait’s Al-Sabah Health Area since December 2016. She has also maintained an active research role at the University of Bradford since February 2013, focusing on developments in pharmaceutical sciences.

Pedro's journey with Johnson & Johnson started in Portugal in 2008 as a business development manager. He later became a board member, as the Commercial Director overseeing all the therapeutic areas (oncology, hematology, neurosciences, Infectious Diseases, and immunology). Over the years, he has taken on various roles, including leading the commercialization of key innovations and serving on the Global Commercial Strategic Organization. His expertise further expanded as he assumed the role of Global Strategic Marketing Director, spearheading the successful launch of DARZALEX. Most recently he led the Marketing and Commercial Excellence department in the GCC region where the team achieved remarkable growth for consecutive years under his leadership. Prior to joining Janssen, Pedro was involved in business planning for a biotech start-up in Paris called AELRED. Before venturing into the health sciences domain, he served as A Quality Engineering Manager in the R&D department for PSA Peugeot Citroen and worked as an engineering consultant for Altran. Pedro earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. He later pursued an MBA at the HEC School of Management in Paris, with an exchange program at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA in the U.S. Outside of his professional life, Pedro is a proud father of three children and has a passion for travel, culture, and history.

She has worked in the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, collaborating with UN agencies, INGOs, and universities. Her roles have included direct service, policy development, systems reform, and human rights advocacy, focusing on children’s mental health and protection. Since 2007, Dr. Colin has held leadership positions at UNICEF, directing Child Protection Programs in Liberia, Moldova, Angola, and Afghanistan, and currently leads Early Childhood Development programs for the Gulf Area Office. She holds dual master's degrees in Clinical Psychology and Special Education and is a licensed psychotherapist with California teaching credentials. Dr. Colin's commitment extends to academic contributions and active involvement in professional organizations promoting inclusivity and equitable opportunities for children.
