Read NowKuwait’s Ministry of Health (“MOH”) issued Resolution No. 100 of 2023 in April 2023 (“Resolution 100/2023”). Resolution 100/2023 repeals a previous MOH resolution from 2022, which regulated the mechanism for importing non-registered medicines and pharmaceutical products. Further, it adds a new article to Resolution No. 361 of 2019. The new article allows for medicines used in the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of diseases and registered with international supervisory authorities without any alternative replacements available, to be registered at the request of authorities at the Ministry of Health. This will be done in accordance with the requirements set out by the Department for the Registration and Control of Medical and Plant Based Medicines at the Ministry of Health.
Al Tamimi & Company are able assist in ensuring compliance with the evolving Ministry of Health Resolutions in Kuwait.
