We are seeking to further expand our network with active members of our Chamber who will truly support our efforts in steering the business environment in Kuwait to become more transparent, more technologically based, and much more business-friendly, in alignment with the "New Kuwait" 2035 Vision.
Founded in 1985, our main role as an American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) operating in Kuwait, is to provide active support in the growth and development of bilateral trade, business relations, and investments between the U.S. and Kuwait.
We do this by focusing our efforts on four major platforms for the benefit of our members: Advocacy, Networking, Marketing, and Information.
One of the most crucial aspects of our support to AmCham members is our advocacy.
·We organize round-table discussions, industry-specific focus groups, and special events, based on which we refer our corporate members' voiced challenges, opportunities, and solutions to the concerned U.S. and Kuwait Government officials for action
·We often partner with the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait to advocate on behalf of our members

·Publications in partnership with Oxford Business Group (they often ask us to connect them with our members for interviews)
·Promoting our members' products/ services /initiatives and business to our network through our website, social media, meetings, events, and exhibitions
·Supporting our member companies with special discounts for obtaining space and/ or sponsorship opportunities at various exhibitions we partner with throughout the year
·As a non-profit organization, partnering with our members on various CSR activities impacts positively their social image and business results
·Collaborating with member companies on different industry-based webinars, where they are promoting their businesses through adopting a rather educational approach, thus building rapport and product/service acceptance (such as Achieving Growth with Microsoft for Start-ups)
·For high-profile exposure, we provide our members with sponsorship opportunities for some of the most prominent events of the year such as The Annual Gala and Excellence Awards, Thanksgiving, The Annual Golf Tournament, Annual Iftar Dinner, Gulf Defense and Aerospace Exhibition (in our booth we have our members' logos), and Industry Day.
We strive to provide up-to-date and relevant information to our members, through:
·Offering a great source of information regarding different aspects of doing business in Kuwait. We often refer potential members to our current members, and if our network is looking for industry-specific solutions, we will often provide them with a list of our member companies within that industry, as we prioritize our members for these types of requests.
